Kicking Things Off
First off, a huge thank you to Tommy Holmes for once again putting together an awesome event on short notice. Second, we couldn’t have done this without the support from our sponsors USI, ProFrac, Infinity Water Solutions and of course Reserve 101. It’s great to be able to work with people that we enjoy spending time with both in and outside of the office.
Thank you to everyone that showed up and [hopefully] had a great time. Seeing landmen, lawyers, engineers, geologists, executives, sales people, field hands, and everyone else from the industry get together is something we will never get tired of. We are blessed to have such great friends and supporters. Giving back to the industry is always something that we have focused on at LandmanLife, and we hope that is shown by our actions and not just our words.
How We Got Here
The Kick Off Happy Hour is something that Tommy and I threw together at the last minute in 2021 because so many other events were being canceled due to COVID. This year was bigger and better, due in no small part to our amazing sponsors. Sophie and others from the USI team have made it to both of our events, and we were very fortunate to have them sign on as sponsors this year. They really are a great group of people to work with, 10/10 would highly recommend.
Matt and Taylor from ProFrac have been the behind the scenes support that helped us get the Kick Off started and kept it going strong for its second year. Despite an insane amount of work due to $90 oil (fist pumping ensues every time we say that), they always seem to be able to make the time to support us. We are eternally grateful for that. Meeting the guys from Infinity Water Solutions was a blast, and it was awesome to have them join us as sponsors this year. Chris, Mike, and Erik are all solid guys and bring a great energy to the room. We look forward to seeing them again at future events.
