Shoes on a Wire
A few weeks ago on our way down to the ranch I noticed this pair of shoes on a high wire over the county road right outside the ranch entrance. Somebody must have quite the arm to get those up that high! I’ve driven by (technically under) those shoes quite a few times since then and keep meaning to stop and get some photographs…but just hadn’t had the time or motivation until yesterday evening. These photos were captured on my Fujifilm X-T4 with a 16-80mm lens and then edited in Lightroom Classic. It was difficult to get the scale of how high up those shoes are while still showing some of the county road.
I’ve seen a lot of interesting things on the Roadtrip to Nowhere, and all too often it’s easy to drive by and say “I’ll stop next time.” Hopefully I’ll make the time to slow down and grab a couple of photos more in the future…
