What is a measuring head?

measuring head is the first piece of equipment that the wireline cable comes into contact with off the drum. The measuring head is composed of several wheels which support the cable on its way to the winch; It also measures crucial wireline cable data. All our measure heads record tension, depth, and speed.

What is depth control?

The procedures and equipment used to measure and correlate depth to ensure that a treatment is applied at the correct position within the wellbore.
