LandmanLifeThe Roadtrip to Nowhere

The Day Rate Survey

AAPL surveys its own members. Most working landmen are not in that data. This is the other half. Under a minute, and it does not ask you who you are.

What I am not asking for: your name, your email, who you work for, what tract you are on, or what you wish you were making. There is no field for any of it.

What happens to it: results publish in aggregate only, in bands, on this site. Any band with fewer than five responses gets folded into its neighbour so nobody can be picked out of a small group. I will publish the response count next to every number.

One ask: answer for what you actually bill today, not what you think the rate should be.

1. What is your current day rate?
2. How many years have you been doing land work?
3. When did your day rate last change?
4. How do you usually work?
5. Are you an AAPL member?
6. Which states have you worked in the last two years?
7. What kind of work do you actually do? Check all that apply.
