A Regular Tuesday Night

Today I went by the office and chatted with our mapper for awhile. He’s a nice guy when he’s sober, but can get out of hand when he’s drunk…which is more often than not. He starts drinking at about noon every day with lunch and apparently keeps drinking till he passes out sometime between midnight and 4 am, on a daily basis. That’s a passion for drinking that I can’t match.
He was in a good mood because it was about 3:00 and he probably had a few beers in him, and that works for me. We figured out my question and I was on my way to get back to work. As I headed back to my place I called my crew chief to see if he had a minute to look over my documents and was at his place a few minutes later. The two of us came to the same conclusion that I had with the mapper and decided that things would look better with a beer.
We chatted it up for awhile and had a few beers, then I finally decided to get back to work. It was 6:30 when I got home, and I haven’t opened my portfolio yet.
It’s 9:30 now and I don’t see much chance that the productivity monster is going to get me…
Me and some buddies on the crew are watching the HBO “documentary” Gasland and pointing out it’s flaws. Party.
